Luxury Travel Reveals their Best Selling Luxury Myanmar Tour in March.

Luxury Travel Ltd (www.uktoptravel.blogspot.com ) Announces the best selling luxury myanmar tours in 12 days covering Yangon, Bagan, Mount Popa, Salay, Irrawaddy Cruise, Mandalay, Kalaw, Inle Lake.

Myanmar's appeal to luxury travelers lies in the way it has been unaffected by modern developments. The country attracts an increasing number of high-end visitors with its colonial properties such as Orient Express' Governor's Residence in Yangon and growing number of boutique, hotels across the country.

Myanmar or Burma is a traveller's dream and one of the most favorite destination for luxuyr travel advisors at the first luxury tour operator in Vietnam. This is a land where holy men clad in traditional longyi are revered, thousands of ancient, religious stupas rise out of flat plains and floating-village life ebbs and flows upon Inle Lake.

For a glimpse of old Indochina, there isn't a more eye-opening destination than this mysterious country, which only began allowing Western travellers into its borders in recent years.

Yangon, the country's capital, is a beguiling mix of British, Burmese, Chinese and Indian influences, from its timeworn colonial architecture to its unique cuisine. In this deeply Buddhist country, pagodas pockmark the land, and some of the most impressive ones can be found in Yangon, including the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Sule Pagoda.

In Mandalay, Myanmar's major commercial center, explore sites such as the monastery-studded Mandalay Hill, a pilgrimage site for Buddhists for nearly two centuries. Perhaps the best way to experience both the romance of the colonial era and see the Burmese people's day-to-day realities is by cruising on the Ayeyarwady River all the way to Bagan, disembarking at temples and viewing life along the river.

If Yangon and Mandalay are Myanmar's capitals of culture and commerce, then Bagan is the country's spiritual center. Over 2,000 pagodas, stupas and temples dot the golden plains of Bagan -- a once-in-a-lifetime sight to behold, best seen from above by private hot air balloon, which can be arranged by Luxury Myanmar Travel. Other highlights include the Ananda Temple, the best-preserved in the city, and Mount Popa, a stunning volcano that doubles as an ancient Buddhist pilgrimage site.

Luxury Travel announces the 12 day tour' "Discover the charm of Myanmar" is the best selling tour package of March. Tour costs at 1593 USD per person, double occupancy.

"Our luxury Myanmar tours introduce Myanmar from an insider's perspective--all itineraries include an expert Burmese guide accompanying you throughout your tour, providing an unrivalled level of service and insight, and the opportunity to meet local families, tour villages, and visit lesser-known temples and attractions, discover the charm of this mystic land of Burma in style." said David Nguyen, sales and marketing manager of Luxury Travel Group Ltd.

FAQs for Pattaya's Walking Street

Q. Where exactly is Walking Street in Pattaya?
A. Easy to find, Walking Street is actually the entire length of Beach Road, starting at the junction of Pratamnah Road and ending at South Road, with intersections Soi 14 and 15 in the middle.

Q. What time is the best time to go?
A. Anytime is good, as there is always something open in this area, but the street is closed to car traffic from 6 pm to 2 am, and that's when Walking Street comes alive, 365 days a year!

Q. As a "red-light" district, is Walking Street safe to walk down without armed guards?
A. As a major Thai tourist attraction, and the largest in Pattaya, Walking Street is no more dangerous than any other tourist area of the country (i.e., not very dangerous at all). But deterrents against pickpockets and boisterous drunks are always advised.

Q. Is prostitution legal here?
A. Yes, while frowned upon for obvious reasons (trafficking, drugs, underage, etc.) prostitution was made legal in Thailand in 1960.

Q. Is that all there is on Walking Street, street girls?
A. No, in addition to a lot of hookers on the street, there are some of Pattaya's best seafood restaurants, sports bars, go-go bars, nightclubs, beer halls and discotheques on this patch of turf. In short, Walking Street is one very long party zone.

Q. Is there any interesting shopping of note on Walking Street?
A. Yes, in addition to the nightlife, there is the famous Pattaya Shoes Department Store between Soi 14 and Soi 15. Great place for anything leather.

Q. I heard that Google was street mapping the area to include candid shots of tourists with bar girls, is this true?
A. This was once "almost" true, as the MapJack geomapping company - like Google Street Maps - was at one time mapping the area and posting such embarrassing images. But since March of 2008, that has stopped and all images have been removed.

Q. I want to dance, where is the best disco?
A. Walking Street's best disco is probably "Mixx," located in the Bali Hai Plaza Shopping Center on the 3rd floor. Mixx has a fantastic dance music sound system and several halls for different types of music styles (Hip-Hop, Progressive House, Tech & Techno). Also, visiting International DJs make for a fantastically fun night out on the floor.

Q. It's just my wife and I, is there a club that's nice for couples?
A. Yes, there are several clubs that cater to couples, and one of note would be the Anglewitch Club.

Q. It's just me (a guy) looking for a date, where is the best place to go for that?
A. Well, since single guys make up 75% of Walking Street's clientele, there are a plethora of places for you to go: try What's Up Agogo, Heavens Above, or the Beach Club for go-go style bars, or try the Lucifer or Insomnia clubs for something a bit more intimate.

Q. We want to take in an all-girl show, which club is best for that?
A. The Casino Club offers one of the more interesting acts with their famous dancing Coyote Girls. The girls are cute and talented (somewhat) and they make sure there is always a wild party atmosphere.

Q. Do clubs charge entrance covers?
A. Some do, some don't. For burlesque-style shows, there may be a cover, but buying a bottle of whiskey ahead of time will exclude you from any entrance fees. In general, bars operate on the lady drink system, where you buy a girl a drink (about 120 baht) and she gets to keep 30 baht as a tip from that sale.

Q. I don't want a date, or company, can I just have a drink and be left alone?
A. Yes, while very forward, bar girls will get the message quickly and just leave you in peace, if that's what you really want in Pattaya.

Madrid - Convent of the Royal Barefoot Sisters

Barefoot nuns could sound like the premise for a comedy skit, but rest assured these sisters are no joke. The Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales is both a functioning convent and a treasure trove of art.

Founded by the daughter of Charles V in 1559 as a retreat for noblewomen, the nunnery has maintained its commitment to its religious principles for centuries. Tours of the grounds and artifacts housed there began inside the last few decades.

Once a royal palace, women of the Spanish aristocracy wandered its hallways in quiet. For over 200 years the grounds, which gradually became a fully recognized and practicing convent, were restricted to outsiders. The occupants inside found not just an environment for religious contemplation but also a private art museum.

The buildings themselves are outstanding samples of Renaissance architecture. The orange stone facade is elegant, punctuated by various archways and also the doors are splendid examples of the period.

The collection grew gradually as the noblewomen who wished to take up the religious life each brought a 'dowry' to be a 'bride of Christ'.

Nowadays those art treasures are obtainable for viewing by the public. You will discover paintings by Titian, Zurbarán and Brueghel the Elder along with many others. You will find magnificent tapestries hand-woven and based on drawings by Rubens. There's even a marble mausoleum crafted by Leoni, a sculpted sepulchre of Emperatriz María executed by Crescenci and several Mena sculptures.

The Franciscan nuns opened the grounds to the public in 1960 and conduct the tours, which is the only way visitors are permitted to see the collection. Though tours are conducted in Spanish, questions in English are permitted and will be answered in English. Nevertheless, there is so significantly which is worthwhile to see that even those not conversant in Spanish will uncover the tours a delight.

Next door is the Convento de la Encarnación, which is also worth a pay a visit to.

Madrid - The Plaza Mayor

The Plaza Mayor remains one of Madrid's chief tourist attractions. Though known as by many names over the centuries and subject to various fires, it retains its allure. The factors are not challenging to locate. While not an architectural work of art, the plaza is among the best locations in Madrid to relax and watch the blend of citizen and visitor.

Over the centuries the plaza has hosted bullfights, political battles, festivals and a lot more than one beheading. Nowadays, probably the most likely web page for a tourist lazily munching on a sandwich and enjoying the sunshine. The surrounding shops provide a fantastic reason for a pleasant stroll and for the really curious, you may go to the baker's guild.

Established centuries earlier, the Plaza Mayor took its approximate present shape in 1790 right after probably the most recent fire. The brainchild of Phillipe II, as component of his effort to make Madrid the capital of Spain, it was completed in 1619 under the auspices of Phillipe III. The latter's statue within the center of the plaza serves as a reminder to all of its patron.

Not massive by some standards, it is almost square at about 100m on every side. But inside the region nearly 50,000 spectators have stood at one time or a different. Whether or not cheering and dancing during 1 of Madrid's many festivals or gawking and horrified at 1 of Spain's numerous executions, the plaza has served as a public square in the most literal sense.

Weddings have alternated with trials by the Spanish Inquisition. Bullfights have traded places with summer lounging. The buildings surrounding the square give convenient perches for those who wish to look down on the events taking location below.

Within the summer those observers will see dozens of tables where a tourist can get a meal or a drink or just take a rest. Regardless of where you sit, it will not be long just before a waiter from one of the surrounding restaurants arrives to take your order. When he does you will have a opportunity to encounter first hand Madrid's friendly atmosphere.

There are actually dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants. When you have finished your meal, and maybe had just a little siesta, there are several shops around to peruse. Antiques, coins, military memorabilia along with a selection of other alternatives are within an straightforward stroll.

Like any massive city, petty crime isn't unknown there. Tourists should be aware of their surroundings and take suitable cautions to stay clear of being taken advantage of. Paranoia could be extreme, but prudence is referred to as for.

Although 1 is unlikely to see a royal coronation, searching around it is not tough to envision what the scene must have been like during a few of the historical events centered at the Plaza Mayor. Fortunately, today's visitors no longer have to be extremely concerned about witnessing an auto de fe - a ritual of public penance by heretics, following a judicial sentencing by the Spanish Inquisition.

Madrilenos today are much extra thinking about enjoying life. Come join them within the Plaza Mayor.

De-stress and unwindin in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast

If the Sunshine Coast is one of Queensland's coastal treasure troves, then Noosa, on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast is where you will strike it rich. Noosa has it all. Luxury and sophistication combine with a laid back beach lifestyle in a natural setting that leaves nothing to be desired.

Everybody enjoys a holiday on the bustling Gold Coast of Queensland, but after awhile, you may begin to long for a beach resort that moves at a slower, more tropical pace. Someone tells you about a place less than 2 hours away that has all the luxuries you could ask for, but lacks only the crowds of the Gold Coast. You decide to check it out. If you're like most first time visitors to Noosa, you will stay longer than you intended to. You won't be able to help yourself.

Your first day in Noosa might be spent on Hastings Street in Noosa Heads. Hastings Street is the beachside shopping and dining street in Noosa. It's the perfect place to go for a lunch or cappuccino in a beachside cafe. After a refreshing meal, you will be ready to do some serious shopping in the upscale Hastings Street boutiques, galleries and gift shops.

The following day is a good day to get outside and get some exercise. This is easily done in Noosa. Noosa and Noosa Heads are divided by the beautiful Noosa National Park. The trail through the park is an easy and pleasant one. The tall trees will provide you with shade as you make your way along the wide, well groomed track. If you want to, though, you can take a detour and bask in the sun and take a dip in the azure waters in one of the sheltered coves along the way.

You will still have all afternoon to continue to get to know Noosa and environs. Nearby Noosaville is nestled next to the Noosa River and is a great place to explore. Relax and enjoy the scenery as you take a river tour aboard a river boat or houseboat and spend some time at beautiful Pelican Beach.

If adventure is more to your liking, then there is plenty of that in and around Noosa as well. If you're a surfer, you probably already know about the classic point breaks in Noosa National Park, but you may not know about the secret spots up around Cooloola National Park. If you're not a surfer (or even if you are), you might want to explore the region by camel back. What a great way to see the sights!

If you're looking for highrises and mega-developments, then Noosa may disappoint you. If you're looking for luxurious boutique hotels, resorts and spas, though, then you will absolutely love it. Even the inexpensive backpackers lodges in Noosa are a cut above the rest. When you stay in Noosa, your Noosa accommodation will be something special, no matter what your budget is or preferences are. Next time you visit Queensland, do something different and stop in at Noosa. You'll love it.

Grand Canyon River Rafting

Grand Canyon river rafting but without having white-water rapids? Take a smooth-water float tour. These one-day, no-rapids trips are perfect for the entire family and provide you with a way to experience the canyon from top to bottom!

Start off from Grand Canyon National Park and Tusayan, AZ, the town just outside the Park's main gate. Choose to go by bus or plane to Page, AZ, where you'll end up making an incredible two-mile drive through a tunnel to the base of Glen Canyon Dam.

Here you'll come aboard a large, motorized rubber pontoon boat and commence upon a beautiful 15-mile smooth-water tour down the world-famous Colorado River. Immediately, the scenery gets interesting as you cruise around world-famous Horseshoe Bend. Downstream, you pull out and take a short walk to a cliff wall where the Puebloan peoples made ancient petroglyphs.

Questions on the canyon? Ask your professional river guide. These folks are a font of information and are more than happy to share their knowledge about the area's sandstone cliffs, it's blue-green travertine waters, and the abundant wildlife that make this pristine riparian area their home.

The float tour, which takes approximately 2.5 hours, breaks for lunch at the midway point, then continue to historic Lee's Ferry. It's here where you'll step into a luxury, air-conditioned motor coach and make your way back to the South Rim. On the way, you'll views of the famous Painted Desert as you pass through a real Navajo Indian reservation. There's also a stop at the Cameron Trading Post where one can purchase authentic Indian handicrafts.

Smooth water float trips operate from April to November and require a full day. Departures are early in the morning. The actual river float is less than three hours. Summer is hot (May through September), and I recommend you bring plenty of sunscreen. Bring a brimmed hat and a light, long-sleeved shirt. If you plan to jump in the water, bring a swimsuit. All rafts carry lots of water and juice so you and your group stay refreshed and hydrated.

These water-rafting trips are all-inclusive and come with lunch, park fees, professional guide, deluxe motor coach, and free pick up and drop off at all hotel properties in Tusayan and Grand Canyon Village. Arrangements can be made to be picked up at Grand Canyon Airport, too.

Rafting packages that include bus transport are the most affordable and start around $170 per person. The airplane option will run each person about $329 each. Shop the Internet for the absolute best price. My research shows that you can get up to 35 percent off if you book on the Internet. Some consumers are still wary of using the Internet for travel bookings. Don't be. I buy all my river rafting tours online and I've never had any problems.

To really understand the Grand Canyon is to go below the rim and ride the river. You don't have to conquer Class 5 rapids to achieve this. Just hop a bus or board a plane and make the trek upstream to the Colorado River's more calm waters. Put your feet in the water. Relax and watch the condors soar. Head for shore and gaze at ancient Indian art. There isn't any rush. This is a smooth water float trip, and it's going to be the highlight of your vacation

Why France is the favourite holiday destination in Europe

France has so much to offer holidaymakers looking for somewhere new to try. Be it the sounds, lights and culture of Paris, the quiet rural beauty of a holiday gite in the Dordogne, a tasting of the famous French wines or the historical chateaux's which are scattered throughout the country, there are so many reasons why people chose to make this their ultimate holiday destination and return year after year. This article looks at why France has so much appeal and why people across the world keep coming back.
France, being much larger than the UK, is subdivided into some twenty-six separate regions, each of which are further divided into departments. These departments may be somewhat similar to the UK classifications of counties, however a region will cover more than one department. All regions and departments of France offer something different, something unique; whether you are interested in relaxing in the sun, looking at some of mankinds earliest cave drawings in the Lascaux caves of the Dordogne or would prefer adrenaline activities in the Alps, France can give you what you want.
One of the reasons why Southern France is so popular is due to the mild Mediterranean climate, where summer temperatures soar to 40°C and the winter temperatures rarely go beneath 5°C. Provence and the French Riviera are considered to have some of the best weather throughout the whole of Europe.
Moving up through the country, the French Alps are a favoured destination during the winter months when snow is in demand rather than sunshine; it's during this seasons that skiers and snowboarders excitedly head for the mountains in the hope of making the most of freshly powdered runs. France is a very popular place for winter sports, the location making it possible to fly or drive, and the resorts catering especially for tourists. With its reputation for providing the best skiing experiences in Europe, the addition of Frances well known culture and good food can only add to the long list of reasons people choose to make this their temporary home for those weeks when they choose to book time away from work.
When skiing, there are many different options available for accommodation. Some people choose to stay in hotels, others may form into groups and rent a chalet. This usually makes for a fantastic experience; what better way to spend a holiday than to be out on the slopes during the day, and relaxing in front of a roaring fire in the evening in the company of friends and with a glass of the local wine to 'help you sleep?'
For those people who retain their sense of adventure but prefer their holidays to be less icy, rural France can be the perfect choice. Staying in a traditional gite and seeing the country by foot, by bicycle or even on horseback, is a healthy and rewarding way to experience the country's natural beauty. Those looking for something less active, may prefer to relax in one of the luxury villas France is so famed for providing.
Moving up through the country, Le Mans is home to the world's oldest endurance car race. The race '24 Hours of Le Mans' began in 1923 and is still going; in it, teams will complete on the track with the race lasting, as the title would suggest, for twenty-four hours.
Whilst all of France is famed for its history, Northern France is home to Normandy where the D-Day landing operation dramatically accelerated the defeat of Nazi Germany. The area is home to museums and memorials that this people interested in mankinds most violent era may chose to visit.
France is the favourite holiday destination of Europe, providing cultural experiences, adrenaline activities and relaxing stays. If you've not yet decided where to go for your French holidays, France is certainly one of the top destinations and it's well worth further investigation.
